Montessori

Emergent Curriculum
No two groups of children are the same, and no two months in our program look the same either. Emergent curriculum means our educators are first and foremost careful observers. They watch, they listen, and they notice what lights children up. When a child brings a pine cone inside and sparks twenty questions, that pine cone becomes a week of discovery. When the whole room becomes obsessed with shadows, we follow the shadows. Learning here is not delivered to children. It grows from them. Alberta’s FLIGHT Framework
FLIGHT is Alberta's early learning and care framework, and it shapes how we think about what early childhood education is really for.
